There are a total of
31 animal carvings among the numerous wood carvings in the church. They
range from the intricate Eagle of St. John the Evangel which forms part
of the ministers chair to the frieze of curloo like birds on the organ
screen. The capitols of the choir stalls all have different designs as
do the top of the balasters of the organ screen.
